About Us

Office Events began trading in service-led event solutions in 2000. Since then the group has a turnover of £8 million and has since grown to employ a vibrant and creative core team of 30 professionals all committed to providing unforgettable corporate events throughout the UK and Europe. Through-out the year, the team expand to upwards of 150 members of staff to ensure the smooth delivery of your event.

Alasdair Adam

Alasdair Adam - Director

The most popular time for corporate events is Christmas when our services are in high demand. The team becomes incredibly busy, so its all hands on deck, myself included. I'm out there with everyone else driving lorries, unloading vans and setting up our extensive production. 

I am very proud to be a director of a good number of creative and talented people who genuinely care about delivering superb events for our customers.

Robert Gorman

Robert Gorman - Sales Director

I have been with Office Events for 6 years and have enjoyed every second.

My role is sales and figure orientated so the opportunity to be part of the production team during busy periods is fantastic as I love to be hands on and see all our hard work come to life.

Jezz Goodwin

Jezz Goodwin - AV and IT Director

As AV Manager I am on site at our events throughout set-up and also during the event. This means a long day for me but I enjoy every second of it. Controlling our top-spec AV equipment is a highly technical role which is great because I’m also the organisation’s IT Manager.

The way the entire atmosphere can change in a room through the push of a button really appeals to me and there is such a huge variety of themes and room styles we work with so no event is ever the same.

My passion for events began when I worked as a set designer and stage manager in local theatre productions. Since then being part of the Office Events team over the past couple of years has taken me on a thrilling journey.

I love to visit new venues, and it’s great when we come across superb spaces that are ideal for our clients needs.

Joe Mitchell-Charman - Account Manager

I joined the Office Events team nearly 3 years ago and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the ride.

Being involved with the production of our events is always a fantastic opportunity to express creativity and imagination. I take great pride in working for a company that is always looking for ways to better our events and ultimately creating an unforgettable experience for our clients.

Marie-Lyse Beau - Event Manager

As Event Manager I really get to experience the impact of our parties as I arrive with the clients when the production crew are finishing up. 

When walking through the event with the client I can see how excitied they are about the different elements of the theming and entertainment which makes all the detailed planning worth its while. 

Sophie Marks - Event Organiser

My interest in the events industry began while working at a London Members Club where I was exposed to an array of events.  Since starting at Office Events in May 2011 I have had the opportunity to get involved in the production of events alongside the organisational process. It brings a great sense of achievement for myself and the team to see the final result after what can be months of meticulous planning.

Kat Lawler - Event Support

I studied for a degree in Contemporary Theatre Practice and have been involved in theatrical production from an early age.

I'm very pleased that I am able to use some of these skills in my Event Support role at Office Events whereby I often manage the lighting and set-up of our themed productions.

Vicky Hogg

Vicky Hogg - Product Manager

I am your resident Mrs Christmas and as the Product Manager my time is spent liaising with suppliers and venues to ensure we have an unrivalled Christmas party product range. You may also spot me on events with a humongous camera snapping away at your summer party.

With a background in advertising and marketing I have been responsible for marketing Office Events and the rest of the family for almost three years.

I believe that our success is fuelled by the quality and flexibility of our team members. Our highest priority has always been exceeding our client’s expectations and we work together to ensure this is achieved at every single event we organise.
