Treasure hunts are a hugely popular fun team event, offering participants the chance to focus on leadership, communication and teamwork skills.

You will begin your hunt with a short briefing inside, for example a hotel's bar, before heading outside for the treasure hunt. Teams are handed information packs containing clues, maps, notebooks and pens. 

Winners are decided by their success in attempting to complete the following challenges: information gathering, thoughtful deductions, collection of clues and items of proof.

The hunt can have the following themes:

• May Tricks,
• Case of the Missing Man,
• Quest for the Missing Dodo,
• Ye Olde Seafaring Quest
• Rogue Agent's Revenge.

The Treasure hunt can take place in both rural and urban locations. Teams will have to rely on both their physical dexterity and mental abilities to help them as they compete to locate the hidden cryptic clues, although it's not necessary to have any inside local knowledge to take part. You will race against the clock and other teams as you attempt to solve the clues and navigate your team to the finish location. Teams then regroup at the hotel, where answers are marked.

After all teams have returned, and all answers have been marked, the winning team will be announced, with a champagne prize awarded.
