If you need a fun team activity with a difference, then Ice Sculpting may be for you.
The idea behind the activity runs as follows: there is a Royal party happening tonight, and your team has to save the day with your fantastic ice sculptures of horses heads (some pre carving done). You will be split into groups of four, and the ice queen will begin the team session. The sculptor will (with ease) demonstrate the basic techniques of Ice Sculpting and show how it should be done.
It will then be your teams turn to take to the ice. Jobs are taken in turn, with roles including designer, sculptor, assistants and presenter. Ice sculpting demands good preparatory work, communication skills, creativity, and support and encouragement from each of your team members. The support is particularly welcome when your team's sculptures don't turn out quite as planned...
You then have to put on a presentation, explaining why your sculpture is the best.
Finally, the Ice Queen will judge the winner, and present prizes.
The event will take a total of about 2 hours.
